Context: Improved Coordination - Enabling residents in different neighborhoods within an organization/community to view each other's calendars would promote better coordination, ensuring that couples can stay connected and informed about each other's activities.
I brought this question up with Caitlin in our Life Enrichment meeting this morning. Our residents are really loving LifeLoop and we are promoting it alot. I have residents who have loved ones in Memory Care or Assisted Living and they reside in Independent Living. They like to be able to view their loved ones calendars as well as theirs so that they can attend their activities or encourage them to participate in activities. They do find it a hassle to go between the two. It would be nice if it was an option when entering the residents into LifeLoop if it were an option to turn on or off the ability to connect with another areas calendars. Preferrably it is always turned off and we simply turn it on for them when setting them up.
@Dylan Kuzelka Feedback captured from residents on 2/2:
Resident calendar sharing: What's interesting is that one of their big complaints there was being able to see what activities are happening over in AL if I live in IL, which we can already accommodate today with some caveats. I asked if it was all about calendar sharing, or if they wanted to be able to do transportation requests for a linked residents, work requests, etc and they said yes. So to Chelsea's point above, this did turn out to be more like a resident acting as a connection or even sharing a common login for another resident.
Adding to this - In some instances, one spouse resides in independent living while the other is in a separate building with a different level of care. Residents are expressing a desire to consolidate their resident profile and connection profile into a single login and toggle between the two. This would eliminate the need for two separate logins and allow them to use a single email address for their login credentials. It's worth noting that while the focus here is on calendar sharing, this request encompasses a broader scope of functionalities.
