Content on LL:
We are getting questions about how to manage the Essentials package and content section on all packages when given to a resident on a tablet or laptop style device. We tell the customers they can use content on any device with 1:1 or group. Currently, if a customer gives a resident the tablet, they would have an ability to access the Staff page, and technically could alter it. This is even worse if they have premium or enterprise tiers.
My thought is that we could have the admin logged in, and have the ability to lock the tablet/laptop usage to whatever application or screen is open. This could be done with the click of a lock icon or something like that.
The admin can then walk away from the tablet for a few moments while they help another resident and not worry about the resident using the table and exiting the app / tweaking settings. It could be locked to the content tab or just a game/application. Whatever makes more sense.
We can discuss this further, but I'm thinking there has to be a way to provide a bit more security and not at the expense of having to support individual accounts for the residents at Essentials tier to achieve what people are asking for and benefitting from.
Again, resident app is great, but many items are not on it for them to access and full independence with an app is not always the reality.
We need either a way to "lock" into content (maybe requiring a PIN to get back to other LifeLoop modules) or a generic content only login, so they can allow the content engagement all the time, not just when a team member is present. This is a first-time unique use case for LifeLoop content, as we don't get many of the customers who have the touch-screen available. I think it should be our preferred moving forward in terms of content access and availability. -Troy during NPSL training
