Add and Remove Group Chat Members without starting a new chat thread

Currently, if a Life Enrichment leader who is a part of my group leaves the company or transfers to a new role, etc. or a new Life Enrichment leader is hired, I have to start a new messaging thread to include or remove the LE Leader. It would be extremely helpful to not have to start a new thread every time I want to make updates to the participants of the chat group.
