We have seen some competitors to Lifeloop have a cool feature where they build the option to livestream via Youtube through their app and it displays on their digital signs/in house tv channel. They have a lot of resident engagement who use it to do their own "shows" or producing content for it during events etc. I think this would be an awesome feature to have
Yeah I understand that portion of it. What the other competitor had was it was built into their mobile app. So you could have people broadcast using Youtube TV automatically. They had a TV module where I know you dont so maybe this isnt feasible. But the residents eventually were taking control and broadcasting events or different resident led livestreams just by using the app.
The existing from my understanding would have to be something that we would have to manually assign each time and grab that url. Again it was a nice feature that residents were leading the content and making it more personal than a business led live stream. I dont know if it would work or not with the existing service without assistance from staff
LifeLoop has the ability to connect a live stream URL as content in Displays. Is there something about this current implementation that is confusing, hard to find, or nonideal?
Step 1: Navigate to Displays Feature Module
Step 2: Open a Display
Step 3: click on "Insert New Content"
Step 4: Select "Video (Use a video stream URL)" from the content type list
Step 5: Setup details
